THIS WEEK
It's the book fair and you aren't going to want to miss "Family Night" Monday from 6-8. The Mummy Olympics is sure to be a huge hit! Not to mention the committee has done a fantastic job, has some fun treats planned and I took a sneak peek today- there are some great books. Hope to see you there, every dollar you spend benefits the school.
LAST WEEK
A HUGE thank you to our partners in education from OIC FWC Strike Det Fallon on base! We had to relocate our storage from "the back" to the old garage bays and these guys provided the man power. We are very grateful to them!
As you are all well aware by now, we did have an unexpected code red "drill" last week. Once again, I would just like to thank the staff students, and volunteers/parents who were on campus. Everyone did a good job and we certainly learned a lot. We will be having a brief training for parents and volunteers the first full week of November. It should only take about 15 minutes, and we will offer it in the morning, mid afternoon, and after hours to accommodate your schedule. Please watch for more information and plan on attending.
NEXT WEEK
Parent teacher conferences will start on Friday, November 1st. Be sure and watch for the emails from your child's teacher to get your conference scheduled. The percentage turn out we have is actually one of the statistics the Department of Education makes us report and publishes on the "Nevada Report Card."
