First Quarter Comes to an End

This Week

If you can believe it, this week marks the end of our first quarter.  Our teachers are busily finishing up assessment and projects for report cards!

We also have a board meeting tomorrow night, and as always, the public is welcome to attend.  The meeting starts at 7 p.m. here at the school.

This Friday is also Greenwave Homecoming, and the lucky winners FOA's Quarterback Club seats were the Stritenberger family.

This morning your students had some interesting visitors to their classrooms. More specifically, the "Book Fair-Oh."  I am sure they will tell you all about it.  You also should have received an email with all the details about the book fair.

Last Week

Last week we had our first academic olympics!  Not all the grades got to go because we had some business to conduct that took longer than expected.  In the end the white team won 5 to 4 in an intense 8th grade tie breaker!  It was a lot of fun!  Can I just say the kinders answered some tough questions!

We also had our first student of the month assembly.  We are proud of these kiddos whose positive attitudes, hard work, and willingness make our school a better place: Taylor Hyde, Luke Dunkin,  Carson Pike, Evelyn O'Neill, Abigail Weaver, Will Swisher, Emma Rosario, Sydney Drost, and Kailee Youles!

Next Week

Book Fair Family Night is Monday from 6-8.  Don't miss it! It will be lots of fun with the "Mummy Olympics" and 5th grade play going on.
