THIS WEEK
Students of the Month for October were: Trevor Hyde, Anna Springfield, Dakota Sasser, Gabriel Oldfield, Cade Barton, Nate Keener, Mathew Swirczek, Orin Sommer and Johnny Manley (only one girl this time)! Congratulations to these 9 outstanding kiddos!
We also had our academic olympics. This month the white team won 12 to 10. All kids did a good job and were good sports! It all came down to the challenge questions in the end!
Also, this Thursday we will have a short "program" at 8 a.m. in honor of the Veteran's Day holiday. We will say the pledge as a school, have a moment of silence, and then our k,1,2, and 7,8 graders will sing a song. We will recognize family members who are veterans, especially those who are serving right now. It will be a very short tribute, but important non the less.
LAST WEEK
We had several Bighorns winners in the local coloring contest! Lexi Atkins, Taylor Alvarez, Eddie Morrow, Emily Bird, Madison Lewis, and Regan Colburn! Well done Bighorns!
NEXT WEEK
Monday is Veteran's Day, be sure and stay home and enjoy the day, taking a few minutes to remember those men and woman and their families, both past and present who protect this great county and the freedoms we all enjoy!
