This Week
Our third and fourth graders are really missing Ms. Amador, our student teacher. Thursday was her last day with us, and we will all surely miss her. She did a great job!
Personally, I am starting to Christmas shop! My strategy is to buy gift cards for all my pre-teen/ teenage nieces and nephews. Then what I do is log onto Amazon, pick out what I am getting the other folks on my list and buy a SCRIP card! If I start buying a few each week, then I'm all set and December is way less stressful. Help us boost our SCRIP sales this month AND make your holidays more enjoyable. See Julie for all your favorites (itunes, Cabela's, Macy, Gymborree, Toys R Us, Target, Amazon) or order on line.

We will sell nachos on Wednesday for $1 at lunch. This will probably NOT be enough to fill your child up so please send them with a few side items. Also on Wednesday, we will wear costumes to school. Please make sure your child's costume covers as much skin as the uniform, and no scary masks. If the costume is not appropriate, we will call you to bring their uniforms.
We have tallied the points for the Blue vs. White Challenge which can be seen to your left. A GREAT way to earn points is through box tops and pennies! Keep brining your box tops in, this quarter we made almost $500 on box tops. And of course, help our 6-8 graders get closer to their goal of 6 million pennies (in 3 years), a penny to represent the 6 million Jewish people killed in concentration camps.
