March? Already?

THIS WEEK

I have always said that one of things that makes Oasis Academy great is that when people see something that needs to be done, they take care of it.  One of our terrific parents, Nick Pinson, was frustrated because our web site was not compatible on his phone (he is not alone)!  Guess what?  He fixed it!  Our website has had a face lift, and we are so happy with it!  Within the next few days you will see those changes!

While we are talking about great parents, there are two volunteers I want to thank:  Sheena McNabb and Janet Deegan consistently volunteer at Thrifty Finds and I am thankful to them for it!

This Thursday is the last day of the quarter!  Only one more to go!

LAST WEEK

There are great things going on around here . . .

Second and third grade's "Living Museum" was so impressive!

One question that Julie and I get asked over and over and over again, "How does it go with your big kids mixed in with your little kids?"  We gladly say, "IT IS AWESOME!  We have never had one problem and everybody wins in this scenario!"

I personally am pretty excited to see the results of this math project.  The 8th grade kids are building bridges and will be testing them out to see which is the strongest.  Hint for parents- it's all about the triangles!

NEXT WEEK

On Friday March 14th we will be having interviews all day long!  Keep your fingers crossed! We are thrilled with our candidate pool!

We also have a board meeting next week on Tuesday March 11th at 6 o'clock!  As always our meetings are open to the public!
