LAST WEEK
As you can see, the staff celebrated the last weekend in style at the wedding of Holly and Christopher Neal. For those of you who don't know, Holly teaches second grade! It was such a fun wedding and we loved being all together and seeing Holly so happy!
All three back to school nights were very successful. Thank you for coming (some of you all 3 nights) and for your willingness to volunteer. What makes Oasis Academy special is the community atmosphere and volunteers are the glue! I have told you before, when visitors come on campus, they can feel the difference. They often make comments about the "feel" of the school- so thank you!
THIS WEEK
Thank you so much to those of you who turned in all the dreaded forms this morning. Please remember to get those to us ASAP. Your students cannot use the Chromebooks until we have the internet use agreement back.
We will have "Pizza Thursday" this week, so swing by and get pizza coupons from Ms. Julie. The math facts BBQ has been moved to Monday (more to come from classroom teachers)!
We aren't sure when the new entrance will be complete, but we hope soon. It is looking really good and we are excited to move in and improve our security for students and staff. We will send you an email when that entrance becomes operational.
We also have a board meeting this week. This year our meetings will be on Tuesday nights. They start at 7 p.m. and, as always, are open to the public.
