Happy Holidays!

THIS WEEK

I am THRILLED to tell you that we have placed an order for 9 interactive whiteboards, one for each classroom! This was largely made possible by YOU, our families who contributed to the No Fuss Fundraiser.  To date, we have had 80% of our families donate, and hope to have 100% by year end!  It's never too late and no donation is too small!

We will also be doing the annual screenings required by NRS this week, so if your child comes home talking about a "machine" hooked up to their ears or eyes, you'll know what is going on!

Today we will be submitting a SCRIP order! Be sure and order all the gift cards you need for your nieces, nephews and brother-in-laws ;)!

We have also started to collect a few toys for "Toys for Tot!"   They will come by on Dec. 15th to pick them up.  I know our family is headed to the store tomorrow evening to pick out something for a few children who aren't as blessed as we are!

Thursday is the last day of the food drive.  Send in those canned goods!

Lastly, if you are able, get your $5 to Julie for one big Christmas gift for your child's teacher.  Check your email for more details!

LAST WEEK

The 6-8 graders have LOVED their Nevada projects!  The students have worked so diligently on them and created some great projects.  The teachers were not so in "in love" with the projects as they took over every square foot of space in their classrooms.  You could hardly move around!

More power tools were used for this project than ever before!

It was a pleasure to see Mr. O'Neill school the boys on using power tools and other project materials!

NEXT WEEK

Last day to bring in a toy for "Toys for Tots" is Thursday!
