I, along with the Board of Directors, would like to extend a huge thank you to the uniform committee (Ashly Weaver, Jenny Pinson, Carrie Cox, Erin Lewis, Melanie Pearce, and Becky Crosby) who put in many, many hours on this project. They took the results of the survey, and concerns of our families very seriously. They even went so far as to purchase uniforms from other companies, wash them, and see how they held up. After hours of research they put together 3 great options for the Board to consider last Thursday night.
Some of the concerns that were expressed over and over again in the survey were: keeping the price low, improving the quality of the clothing, and having the option to go to a store to purchase OR order online. The board has decided to go with Old Navy for our uniforms next year (of course your French toast clothing will be grandfathered in, but don't order anything else). There will be more information in the coming weeks via your email, with specifics! We sincerely hope this improves your uniform experience. I do want to remind you that just like French Toast, Old Navy does sell out of their uniforms; so plan ahead for those growth spurts and order early.
Many of you are aware that the school received great kick backs (in the form of cash and products) from French Toast. We can realize that same level of kick back from Old Navy, but ONLY IF PEOPLE USE SCRIP CARDS!!! Please, please, please start planning now to use scrip cards to purchase your uniforms. We are going to have some GREAT promotions to encourage this in the coming months so watch for those!
