THIS WEEK
Welcome back! We are busy, busy, busy around here. We have guest teachers on campus this week, and will continue to have them for the next 6 weeks or so. We are attempting to have all of our hiring done by April 1, 2014 and we are making every effort to find the best and brightest teachers.
We also had our first semester awards assembly this week.
These kiddos have not missed a single day of school all semester long! Not easy to do!
These students are on the A- honor roll! Meaning they have strait A's, no B's! Impressive!
B honor roll students. They have all A's and B's, no C's! Another difficult task! They can surely hold their heads up high!
This year we added some additional awards for those grades that have standards based report cards. We focused the awards on "The Critical Life Skills" of Communication and Collaboration, Attentiveness, and Work Ethic. These students received the "Communication and Collaboration" award!
These students earned the "Work Ethic" award. A skill that will serve them well their entire lives!
Last, but certainly not least, are the students who received the "Attentiveness" award. It's really tough to learn if you are inattentive!
"Bighorn Award" recipients. I refer to this award as the overall awesomeness award!
I saved my favorite award for last, "Most Improved." This is what life is all about. It is not about being the fastest, the smartest, the strongest, the cutest, etc. Life is about improving! Getting better and doing better all the time!
I am proud of all of these students! Congratulations!
