What? It's the LAST WEEK?

This Week

I cannot believe it is the last week of school. It doesn't seem possible, but there is definitely that giddy, nostalgic, summer lovin feeling in the air ;) I have it too, and I'm trying to figure out why since I have to work in June?

We have a busy week. Tuesday is 8th grade promotion at 1 o'clock at the convention center. All of our students will attend.

Wednesday yearbooks will go home. Much thanks to the parents who put the books together.

Thursday is field day.

Remember:

Sun screen
Label EVERYTHING
Drop off at indoor pool
No need to bring a lunch
ALL STUDENTS PICKED UP AT 2 at the indoor pool.

Jan. 24	Report Cards (Grades must be finalized in PS by this date; begin filling out on report cards which are due 1-31)	This time is provided to allow teachers to work on report cards. Standards Based reports cards can take up to an hour per child to complete from start to finish (k-2). In 3-8 our report cards are fare more detailed than traditional report cards.	Everyone
Jan. 31	Staff Meeting Critical Friends Protocol Grades 3-5	Critical Friends Protocol is designed to help teachers analyze their project with the collaboration of the entire staff.	Everyone
Feb. 7	Staff Meeting Critical Friends k-2	Critical Friends Protocol is designed to help teachers analyze their project with the collaboration of the entire staff.	Everyone
Feb. 21	TRIBES 3:15-5:15	TRIBES is a community building, school culture training.	Everyone
Feb. 22 FRIDAY	Staff Meeting Starboard Training (3hours)	Training on the Interactive Whiteboard software	Everyone

March 15 Friday	Staff Meeting (CRT Training)) Math Training	Sue Marsh and Meg Antoniono will hold Part II of the Math Common Core State Standards training. This training is an effort to bring the information they get from the state leadership program they were accepted into to the entire staff.	Everyone
April 12 Friday	Conferences		Everyone
April 18	Staff Meeting (CRT reminders) TRIBES	TRIBES is a community building, school culture training.	Everyone
April 25	Evaluations	Look at goals that each teacher set for themselves. Discuss how these are evidenced, but not necessarily observable in a lesson. Individuals write documentation of ways they have met this goal.	Everyone
