This Week
If you have a third through eighth grader you have probably heard them mention that they are starting to prepare for CRT testing. While we prepare by teaching the standards all year long, at this time of year we start talking specifically about how the test is going to look.
This is always a tough time of year! Between the time change and spring sports starting, everyone is pretty sleepy. I'm not sure what happens, but I do believe it's a phenomenon worthy of study. At our house last night, we just forgot to do homework. How is that possible on the 100th day of school? Hang in there! Don't forget how important school is,
as we inch toward the testing season!
as we inch toward the testing season!
Tuesday is also our 100th day of school! Hip, hip hooray!
The staff will be busy this week having professional development on Thursday and all day Friday!
Last Week
We had our student of the month and academic olympic assembly. This month's students are pictured above. I love to hear the reasons why your children are nominated! They are so impressive!
As most of you know we have a Bighorn lacrosse team. At our assembly, we introduced the the team: Assistant Coach O'Neill, Captain Fearghus Keitz, Nico Hofheins, Nate Keener, David Springfield, Tanner Stritenberger, Malcolm Feest, Cade Barton, Assistant Captain Kaden Stone, Nate Gatlin, Zane Davis, and Assistant Captain Conor Keitz. Not pictured are Head Coach Keitz, Brenden Leary, Mason Wagner, Trey Rooks, Victor Sanchez, Josh Carter, Nicholas Delgado, and Anthony Lombardo.
We are awarding blue and white team points to those students who come out to support the Bighorns. The first game is March 23rd @ 1:00 at the Regional Field behind the indoor pool. This is a busy day because it is also the opening day for baseball, but we hope to see you there. See the full lacrosse on news and events tab.
