A True Honor From a REAL Hero!

I would like to share an email that I received today. . . Obviously, this is a huge honor. Please pray for SGT Hallberg, her safety, and her family at home. There are truly heros in our midst. I hope that soon, we can share a picture of this very special flag flying!

Mrs. Mackedon,

As you might know, right now I'm in Afghanistan. We have a tradition here
where Soldiers will purchase an American flag and fly it in particular day
and dedicated to people back home. Tomorrow the flag that will be flown will
be in honor of Nevada Day and dedicated to Oasis Academy. This is to
represent a small token of appreciation to you and all the Oasis Academy
family for all your hard work and dedication to our children. I will be able
to deliver it when I return home. Although I can't be involved in day to day
activities, home is never far from my mind. Again thank you.

March 15 Friday	Staff Meeting (CRT Training)) Math Training	Sue Marsh and Meg Antoniono will hold Part II of the Math Common Core State Standards training. This training is an effort to bring the information they get from the state leadership program they were accepted into to the entire staff.	Everyone

April 18	Staff Meeting (CRT reminders) TRIBES	TRIBES is a community building, school culture training.	Everyone
April 25	Evaluations	Look at goals that each teacher set for themselves. Discuss how these are evidenced, but not necessarily observable in a lesson. Individuals write documentation of ways they have met this goal.	Everyone
