I just want to take a moment and thank you parents for taking the time out of your busy schedules to come in and meet with your child's teacher/s for parent conferences. You knowing where your child is at is so critical to their success.
I also want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the staff. It is a tremendous amount of work to prepare for conferences, especially with the new report cards we are using. Some of our staff have as many as 45 conferences, so they are putting in hours and hours of time during their lunches, before school, and after school to ensure that you have the information you need about your children. These are fabulous, dedicated teachers whom I have the utmost respect for.
And lastly, a big thank you to all the students and staff for the love on bosses day. Being that I have never been a boss before, I had no idea and you can imagine my surprise when I walked into the lunch room and the entire student body was waiting for me. I cried (of course)! Thank you all so much!
